How can I get Designer RX sunglasses?

I have pretty bad eye sight for a 23 year old and I was recently in at lenscrafters to get new glasses and I was told that because of my prescription its really strong/bad (-5.25) its impossible b/c the glass would be to thick. Is there some special place I have the ability to go to that has the technology to do that or is it really impossible??? I really, really want those large Sunglasses that the celebs wear i.e. Olsen twins, Kim Kardashian, Holly Madison (girls next door) and I'm soooooo sad I cant….please help! Thanks!

Almost all Designer brands offer prescription lenses. Take a copy of your prescription to a reputable eyeglass emporium and they’ll hook you up! They are, however, very pricey, more than than their standard Sunglasses. My prescription Oakleys were almost $1000!
My Physician has both Chanel and Dolce Gabbana Sunglasses, but she didn't get them from her office!

They are full of crap. Show them a briefcase full of money and they will help you really swift.
