If you had to stereotype or generalize, not to say that's what the person is really like, but what is the image, a first impression?
“Hmm, I wonder if those are from this season. I'm not sure if I like Gucci's Sunglasses, I like D&G when it comes to eyewear. Maybe I should get a pair anyway….”
And then my judgement on the person would be,
“Couldn't she be a bit more creative; Gucci glasses are kind of boring.”
Honestly, I wouldn't call her “spoiled” or “rich” because Gucci glasses aren't as costly as everyone thinks they are. You could get a pair of less than $300 from bluefly.com. I think the stereotype on people who select to splurge a bit on clothes, rather than on ipods or phones need to change. And it's the same with the “rich” stereotype. Why should the price of someone else's clothes matter to you? Are you paying their bills?
If they had a bunch of Designer things then i would think they were spoiled.
I myself have Juicy Couture sun glasses and i have two Toki-Doki for Lesportsac bags, so i usually wear my sun glasses and hold my bag, i don't think people think im rich because of that, they probably just think it took me a long time to save up to get those two things.
That's what most people do unless they have the money to spend, save up until you can afford it. And most of my Designer things were gifts anyway.
